While through our exhaustive research we have found at least four “inventors” of the classic margarita. I guess it’s kind of like nuclear bombs, the US “invents” one then the USSR “invents” one and so on. Kind of like new gasoline’s as well.
Anyway, it seems that one thing they have in common is that they all tried to make tequila a more palatable liquor for the “fairer” sex.
Now, how fair is that?
Please, peruse and then enjoy!
This was the claim from brewski jones at toa payoh. Brewski Jones is a subsidary of Botak Jones that serves brew.
Met up with some of the police friends for dinner yesterday at Botak Jones @ Toa Payoh. Man Botak Burger, juicy beef~. I also ordered a mug of magarita, well its awesome.
Had so much fun & laughter catching up with the guys. Hopefully we can have more of such gathering more often.

Its been a week+...I've passed my Module 5! Woopie! I also bought bioshock to destress (I only played like 3-4 hrs ok!) (Below are screenies from the game I got from www.gamespot.com, My fraps didnt work, prolly gonna try it again this weekend as I'll be busy revising for M9 for CMFAS - Life Insurance and Investment Linked Policies)
I also caught Residential Evil Extinction Last Friday.....it was okay....nothing too unexpected and nothing very awesome. Just a normal wannabe action wannabe horror flick.
Doubt theres much movies that I will anticipate in the coming weeks.....and i still wanna get a digital camera.....arggg.. and a car...

Been studying after work lately and on weekends. I do still play some games watch tv... but mainly I'm concentrating on my CMFAS (Capital Market & Financial Advisory Services) Module 5 examination that is coming next Tuesday. I've been sacrificing my personal time for the studies cause I only have 14 days for my first paper and 10 days thereafter for my 2nd and 3rd paper.
Its so tiring to study after work (I worked overtime sometimes!) nothing seems to be going in. Hopefully I can absorb more this weekend after some good sleep and yes, I will go for a jog that havent happen quite some time.

What a busy week, have been working and studying for module 5 & 9 for capital market and financial advisory service.
The modules itself are not hard but coupled with work, sometimes I do feel a bit tired but man, I gotta work hard for my future =).
Boring weekend, studied through and played some game.... I am such a homey guy.

Its been weeks I know, and I havent been blogging much.....argg...I'm just plain lazy and very very sick. I was downed with stomach flu last tuesday and I had a tough week to go to work as I was feeling fatigue.
However I got better as the days pass by and on Friday, I actually went to attend a career seminar organised by Great Eastern. My main purpose of going there was actually to see Adam Khoo in action.
They invited him as a guest speaker and man hes hellofa speaker. If I'm anymore rash, I'll just quit my job now and skip tietiary studies and become a full time financial advisor, lol.
But nope, I'm gonna hang on my peanuts pay as a management support staff till Dec and I will proceed with my bachelor studies next year. And yes, I will still be taking the modules to become a financial advisor for Great Eastern... on a part time basis.
I am not bearing high hopes of becoming a top earner or whatever crap, I am doing this because I believe the modules that I take will aid me in the business field (my field of studies).
And yes, If I manage to be able to make a living out of this line, I'll probably consider about going full time. But this will all depends, I have certain goals in this line and if I reach those goals, a full time job as a financial advisor sounds good to me.
So any one wanna learn more about investments and insurance or need a financial analysis free of charge?!? Drop me a message when I have completed my modules and registered with Great Eastern =p. For now... Hang on till I pass so you can be my client!

Its been 3 weeks after starting my temp work at NUS, I've worked 15 days for Aug and I calculated and I've made quite a bit.... awaiting for 18th for pay day~. I'll spend a little but I'll not splurge as the bulk of the money will be saved for my allowance next year.
Sometimes I feel tired and just wish that I can resign now and play games and do stuffs that I like until my school starts in January 08 (3 more months). But I've told myself that I need to start to be more independent as my family is not rich. I'm even considering giving tuition when my terms start, provided I can find any students lol.
Although My parents do have a little bit of savings but all the money will go to their retirement account. They are doing me a favor so that I will not be financially tied down when I start working as they will be able to feed themselves for quite sometime still.
This makes me feel the need to work even more to save up some money!
Also, the workload/pace/culture at NUS is pretty okay at the moment. I come and go on time except for 1 and 2 days... and I manage to post a blog post at work! =X

Its my first week at work over at NUS. I am working as a temp management support staff a.k.a saikang warrior haha. My main job is to assist whoever needs my assistance be it tidy up the store room, despatch, tabulate data, photocopying etc.
The job load wise is pretty okay....however....they likes to throw things at me at the last minute. But unlike NS now, I'm paid by the hour... so this 3-4 months, I'll try to earn as much as possible, so next year have more cash to use. And yes, yesterday I work till 9pm and my payout for yesterday is 88 dollars, haha... but when I got home I was super hungry and super shag la. Then the damn bus driver drive slower then my grandmother... got home at 1015pm.
1 good thing about working in NUS is that, the food is damn cheap! And recently theres some training session going on and the colleagues packed food for every 1 to eat, My total spendings on food this week was less then 25 dollars.... lol
Oh well, 2 days of rest and back to work again, hope to catch the last series of bourne, guess its a good movie. Can't wait for school's orientation to come la!

Me and my parents were having dinner at Jurong point's 'you know the roast duck/chicken speciality shop beside popular' yesterday. After dinner, we decide to head down to NTUC to grab some item. Along our way to NTUC, this Uncle were keep yapping away. 'Authentic Lucky 4 leaf clover for sale'. Apparently this uncle had found this 4 leaf clover 2.5 yrs ago by chance and he went to do some studies and eventually grew his own in Australia. He then imbue it into pendant of various shapes.
For those that know nuts about 4 leaf clovers. I'll give a brief summary.
According to legend, each leaflet represents something: the first is for hope, the second is for faith, the third is for love, and the fourth is for luck.
It has been estimated that there are approximately 10,000 three-leaf clovers for every four-leaf clover.
So I've got 1 and I really hope that I can have love and luck with some faith =p

The Polo I bought today
Today is the first week of my clearing leave, so far so good with some calls from the office but more or less expected.
Did nothing much other then play game, go out, play game and go out. Was looking forward to go to Sentosa but can't find any kakhis, the policemen dun wanna go, bah. Actually never go also good la.....haha
Watched Simpsons on the Monday. I must say, ITS AN FUKING AWESOME CARTOON. _|_.
Really, its a nice catch for those who like lame and corny jokes. Then again, you might not like their jokes but you'll still find the movie amusing.
Lately, dun have the mood to go clubbin, nowadays just dun feel like spending much money.... but I bought a nike polo T-Shirt today! For only 11.35, because I had 40 dollars voucher given to me by my unit.. haha... bought it at B.I.R.D at cineleisure.
Oh ya, theres this new BBQ 'resturant' at cineleisure selling set meals at 9 dollars. The service suck till the core but the food is pretty nice.

Just seen this movie on Sunday. Went to do some survey with Garhein and Rick, got a nice amount for just entertaining the surveyor for 10mins =).
This movie is pretty funny! Its about some really really Hawt trainee teacher and some discipline master trying to know who slept with her....well its a good twist in the story. If you liked lame corny jokes, this movie is a classic.
If your all goody goody, reading Harry Potter, you might as well catch Harry Potter =)

My favourite Botak dish. Actually I only ate botak burger and this chicken dog before but I love the chicken dog. Went to eat with a few police friends at braddell there. Quite a nice place with all the booz selling etc. But tonight not the night to drink so didnt drink.
The booz is cheap! (10.50 for 1 pint of Hoegarden). Yea they have TV showing ESPN also, maybe can go there and watch soccer or something.... but its damn far for me la, unless my friend drives.
Suddenly feel like getting a bike without my parents' knowledge after so long of inactiveness in riding...... but I feel very guilty and I am very afraid that I might be involved in an accident and my parents will be shattered especially when I'm the only child.
Back to Botak Jones..... They give so much onions la.... although its said that onions are good for the digestve system, kill bacterias etc....but I doubt I can take onions la... the feeling of berak (stomache) comes shortly.... ON THE TRAIN.
So I dropped at an unintended station to deal with the problem.........man... Onions

Really very very lazy to blog, but I think I need to put some info for any 1 out there that might peeped into my little blog.....
Work Life
I am going to ORD next month! Yea! No more underpaid office boy haha.... Next week will be my last working week. After that I'll be having a short break. Got a job lobang at NUS to do work as Admin. Will most likely work there till December if circumstances allow. Was hoping there will be higher profile jobs available but I guess its pretty hard cause I'm only able to work as a temp for 3-4 months....
Music
Joined a singing competition that Hark Music Organised, got into the preliminary round.... I've still no idea if I had made it to Quarter Finals..... its still pending but I guess I'll not made it... Well I doubt my audience vote was high as I didnt had any friends supporters. I felt I didn't wowed the audience too. Well all in all it was pretty fun meeting people and performing and stuffs. See the 2 pic above? 1 cool, 1 cute =p.
Clubbing
Never been to clubs much lately, only went on last Fri and Vesak Day eve which was end May.
No money la........ haha. Clubs do feel fresher with smoking banned in the vicinity. Well maybe I'll drop by clubs more often the next few weeks but then again.....I'm trying to save up for my allowance for my studies next year..... so It all depends.
Games and Interests
Restarted Worldofwarcraft to join my friends in shattered hand, just playing casually now. Don't want to let a game dictate my life. I still wanna do music, sports etc bla bla bla. I've been reading up on investments lately. Quite into funds/stocks/shares now. But I do not have the capital. I signed up with www.fundsupermart.com but I think I'll not put my pitiful sum of money into funds yet. What if an emergency arise for me? But I'm reading now so that I have a better idea next time when I want to throw myself into the world of investing to the route of financial freedom for me and my family =).
Sports
I try my best to go to the gym to run/do weights at least twice per week. But sometimes really so lazy, just feel like staying at home to play game =X or go out and watch movies with friends. But I've been trying to watch my diet! Been to sentosa to play beach soccer and volleyball.... wanted to tan but that day there was no sun! Ahhh.... k, hopefully theres sun the next time I go which most likely is next Saturday if possible.
Affairs of the Heart
Still Single Still looking for the 1 =p
All in all, life has been a mix of experience for the past 2 months. Stress/happiness/woes/excitement. I have lived well =). Hopefully the next update will not need another 2 months =p.

Man, damn blog is having some stupid errors. Its been a month since I last blogged. Let me brief you whats going on in my life. Been out more actively, went Ministry of Sound twice in the weekdays........but it seriously sucks. I went because of the whosgoing.sg event.
The place is filled with a lot of guys....and malays.... Its not that I have anything against them but I usually prefer chinese in Clubs and the amount of malays are.......overwhelming? Gah....
In work, every day I feel like vomit blood, my replacement is well..... not too bright.......budden again, he is willing to learn. So I guess I just got to tahan.
Now planning to find a job after I ORD, a contractual job of 3-4 months will do...... no idea what kinda job will I get, preferbly somewhere near my place! Its just to earn some pocket money for my Bachelor Study next year =)
