Its been hell of a week with mad rush for LM and investment project. With LM project cleared, now only left investment, I can say roughly 50-60% done, last few parts to go!
Manage to take a break to go for the KTV steph requested yesterday @ crystabelle. Overall had 20 people attended wasnt too bad i hope. More sessions to come by I hope.
Was doing Investment project this morning with the guys and TJ they all. Jeremy informed us of the bisceps curl endurance challenge. I thought like, er wth lets go try, even though I havent hit gym for a while, but I've been toning myself at home with my beloved 10 kg dumbell.
So with some 'techniques' (this is call how you play with the game rules) and some in-born brute strength (hey, I never really trained man), I manage to hit 73 reps in a min and emerged second, and of course first goes to Jeremy with his huge bisceps (he did 74 haha).
My prize was $60 royal sporting house voucher, time to get my running singlet and shorts for standchart. haha
A simple guy with a simple dream. To live life simply and happily :) Just wanna share my life in a simple manner so I can look back at all the wrongs/goods I've done

My DESKTOP DIED! After my analysis, its a very high probability that its the VGA card thats spoilt, 2nd highest possibility is that the Motherboard is spoilt, and lastly, the PSU is spoilt.
And this morning when I woke up, tired to on my laptop, to my horror, it crashed... I couldnt boot into windows. So I virtually spent the whole morning and some time in the afternoon to recover the system and install the updates, which is really biatch.
Now I'm running on Windows Vista (I was using Windows XP before). It looks damn cool but my sense its gonna lag my laptop quite a bit. I think the desktop goes down cause it doesnt wants me to play any games as exam is nearing, and yes my desktop is my gaming system.
Laptop is for convenience to do project and prior to this I was using this laptop for my financial advisory job.
Arggg, guess I'll try to remedy my desktop sometime after the exams, with some luck I might have a job and I can stick with my laptop for simple games/blogging/msn chatting/project work.
Afterall I guess it aint too bad to be on with a laptop, at least I have the freedom to move it anywhere I want, I can sit on the floor and use it etc. It feels more at home with a laptop hah

Today was the Ulu Pandan Campus opening. Its so fukin hot there that I got a terrible headache in the late afternoon. After reaching sch @ 9+ and waiting for the chowdown stuffs to bring over, I've reached there around 11+.
And theres the Simply U talent contest thingy going on. I was like hey, I thought I signed up? Why wasn't I called up for the contest? My guess is that they have like 10+ people and they thought its an hassel to do an audition and got the first 10 who signed up to be in. Haha
Vinod sang 'Hua Hee Jiu Ho' damn well, I think Chen Lei can retire and Vinod can replace him. Not sure if he won the contest a not cause I had to rush back to school for lecture after the chowdown. The dancers were er... ok? And theres this guy who dances and tried to sing for bonus........errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. No comments.
Following which is the 'Final Chowdown'! It was a success with 6 teams in the competition. Champion was Junsheng's team'Jiak Beh Loh', 2nd was 'Team Floorball' and 3rd was Eric they all, 'Team Vinod Sucks' hahaha.
The first was crazy, Vincent (Da Hei) is really good at eating, he should have joined the hotdog challenge, I think he will win if he did man.
I don't have any pictures but when I do get hold of any I'll try to upload some.
All in all, I must extend my gratitute to Xueling who have been coordinating when I'm bogged down with projects, planning team for the effort to help out and contribution of ideas, the heads especially helping out in settling so many stuffs, and everyone else who gave their support for the event to make it possible.
Cheers!

Yesterday night was one of the craziest night of my life I think. I also think its the night where I drank the most for the past 2 yrs.
It all began with the events people meeting up at Ms.Clarity Cafe for dinner. Thanks Teck for his ride down and thanks steph for informing me that he is driving down haha.
Before that headed to Teck's Sister eatery at golden mile tower to chill for a while. Not too shabby pretty big and the food looks good, at least the bread was good and the herbal chicken looks ooh laa laa, need to try it one day.
Ms.Clarity Cafe food was ok, my chicken ballotine was pretty nice but the milkshake was a major dissapointment. Feedback for most other food were bad too, and some them had Tom Yam Pasta, can you imagine? Pasta with tom yam? /puke. Not my thingy
After which we headed to Tapas Bar at Dunlop Road/Street. Its a pretty nice little bar with a function room which can be booked for free, so we got the function room. Come along is this petite little cute girl that get our order, I was like holy shit, this waitress is cute. But after which Robbin told me shes actually the BOSS OF THE PLACE and is also currently studying in NTU/NUS cant rem. I was like crap, shes so eligible! I dun dare to try to get to know her! haha
Played a lot of games and left Tapas Bar around 130. Throughout, Roderic, Vinod, Anthony were all bombing my phone la..........as it was Lian Jin's last party in Singapore @ MOS... they die die want me to go down.
Being supportive I went down to find them, so we drank, dance (I went to trance alone for like 30 mins to try to shuffle, and I tried to shuffle to R&B Music), vinod says me shuffle improved from zouk, yea! More moves to learn and perfect~ But I cant seems to move my leg fast enough. And 1 of LianJin's friend was Lucinda Leong from FHM, so I kinda partied with Lucinda Leong lol.
So every 1 is trying to make LianJin drunk, I too got him a graveyard. I have never had graveyard before and I can swear to god, it taste like shit. Because he was so seh, we never manage to get him to drink so we shared it among ourselves. I think I drink like 1/4 and I really feel like puking on the spot. Its horribly disugsting.
After which Vi, Rod, Me, Anthony, GR, SH went to have breakfast at Al Ahzaz.
The 3 siao ginnas that attended Lian Jin's 'Last Party'
And we actually took the first bus home from bukit timah.....
Slept around 4 hrs+
I need to work on OT soon, I'll get the chown down stuffs tomorrow. damn......so tired.

Investment test was pretty challenging, even with a question that had typo in it! Everyone was telling me chui. But I think still can score distinction bah, HD must see my 'Di Gam' skills good a not already haha.
Den I rush home, changed into my bash clothings and went to meet steph, teck and abigail @ tiong bahru and cabbed down to zouk.
The performance was great, great effort by the dance team and of course outstanding singing performance by jerome, good job. But coming from a music sch witnessing countless superb singers, jerome has very outstandinging stage pressence, his vocal was not bad but it didnt wowed me, but i must say he has really very outstanding stage pressence, definitely a performing material.
Next on was the paegent, all the contestants trained and rehearsed madly for the day, lots of efforts seen, so kudos to all of them, all of them are a winner. But congrats to Nizam and Anne who emerged as the king and queen.
Met quite a lot of people yesterday, the dragonboat guys, cal, sherwin, skye etc.
So sherwin influence me by teaching me the basics of shuffling, running man. Its fuking tiring, but its pretty fun. Reminds me of the days I play dance dance revolution. So I tried practising it all night long.
In the end got too shag, joined some of them and went to the prata place to have a normal drink, coke and mineral water. As I've been there and I know the food sucks and I ought to be on a diet, I gave the food a miss. And den, I realised the true colors of Maybelin! I shant talk much about it haha.
Went back Zouk, played some games here and there, hop here and there, tried to practise more of shuffling, and some ang moh lady actually wanted to learn from me. I was like er, wth I today just learn also lay, but haha.
Overall I felt that council was pretty '散' yesterday, everyone is forming different cliques, I was hoping that everyone can play together and hv fun. Some of them even went dbl o without informing. I cant blame them, not all like house music, and not everyone does shuffling. But I was hoping that I everyone can play tgt and mingle and bond more instead, oh well.
Bash was overall ok, nothing too exciting and nothing too boring but if theres one best thing about yest nite, is that I tried out shuffling and I'm enjoying it. hah

跌跌撞撞几十回,就是不知道何时才会遇到对的人.
I've fallen and bumped countless times, but I'll never know when I'll meet the right person.
Maybe I'm destined to be by myself, maybe I'm not good enough to love, and maybe love is just something thats too far out of reach for me.
haha I'm not emo, but I realised its almost immpossible to find a girl that fits my bill and will fall for me, the probability probably is like 0.0000000000001%, so how am i suppose to find someone in my life? haha... my bill is not harsh, its just rare.
I'll like my other 1/2 to be
- nice and caring
- family oriented
- frugal (have sense of money control)
- demure yet not too demure
- mature but fun
- happening but not too happening
- loves to sing
- enjoys eating and cooking
- pleasent looking
- must be smaller size than me
- laugh at my jokes
hmmm, am i asking for too much? hah maybe i am.
Just a random thought at 1am 6th Sept. hah
Investment test and bash later on, hope everything will just go smoothly.

3 Behaviors of Successful Guys In Wooing A Girl
By Ai Qin
You want to know how to woo a girl? Have you ever wondered why some guys seem to be able to woo girls without any efforts while others just keep failing no matter how hard they try?
Well, there is really no secret. If you haven't been very successful, then it is about time you start to observe what other successful guys are doing. Generally, guys who are very successful with women exhibit the following behavior:
1) They are very confident with themselves. Well, girls are naturally attracted to men who are sure of themselves. Don't ask me why, it is just something subconscious. What women want are real men.
Successful guys remain calm and cool even when they see a very attractive woman. Most average men will go all out to complement an attractive lady, but this is usually not very effective.
Why?
An attractive lady knows she is attractive. Thousands of men have said that to her, so what makes you different from the other men? Act differently and don't be afraid to tease her. This will arouse her interest in you.
2) They treat women nicely but they don't go all the way out to please a woman. In fact, they don't need to. That is because their life doesn't revolve around a woman. They don't show signs of "Oh, I can't live without her". Nothing turns a woman off more than this type of mentality.
They also take the initiative to lead. They will not hesitate to make decision. An average guy usually try to please a woman too much, like asking her "Where do you want to go?" Successful man decides where to go and any woman is happy that the man takes the initiative to make the decision.
3) They are humorous. Girls like guys who know how to make them laugh. Laughter helps to ease away all tension. Unfortunately, most guys are not humorous by nature. However, if you are not humorous, don't worry too much about it.
Just like riding a bicycle, humor is a skill that can be developed. Here are a few ways to become more humorous. Firstly, hang out more with other guys that you find humorous. Their sense of humor will rub off you eventually. Secondly, be on the lookout for humorous materials. Watch stand up comedy. Some of those jokes may be suitable for use in a normal conversation. You just have to know how to adapt it.

After yesterday's nike run, I've decided thats it, I need to seek medical treatment for my knee. And I've always favor acupunture for any sprains etc, thus i went to jurong pt basement 1 the chinese physician shop, theres this chinese doctor that do 'tui na' and acupuntures. So I had a date with the chinese lady doctor for close to 2 hrs!
I tried to hide that i had actually felt pain before this, but after rubbing and poking, she says I have a large area of injured veins; this is only possible when i never seek treatment when i was injured before. She was so correct man, my confidence level in her up 200% lol. So according to her, last round when i injured my leg, i never seek treatment, the injury becomes hidden, i'll only feel it when I do straineous exercises and affect the other veins too. Thus I have several injured veins around my knee. Ouch.
So doctor say. Eat medicine, put the plaster, rub the oilment and refrain from doing any straineous activity with my leg for the REST of the WEEK. Guess I need to start light marathon training next week. And I shouldn't move much on bash that day, maybe just stand there and stone. haha
This is the process of sucking out the 'bad blood', after the 'bad blood' is suck out, the pain -50% instanteneously!.
Close up, you see the blood in the middle, thats the 'bad blood'
And of course not to forget the most importantly, acupunture. Man shiok haha.
